One of the priorities that we have always had as
Union of Cooperatives is the strengthening
of production activities of our associates, and to ensure our own
nourishment.
In the first years of the UCA, only traditional
foodstuffs (basic grains like corn, beans,
rice, …, fish,
small and big livestock) were produced. However,
over the past years, we have been making an effort
at introducing new production activities, which is
a supplement to our income.
