The UCA Tierra y Agua also promotes several social projects that try to respond to the specific needs of every community in the cooperatives.
One of these projects was the construction of communal houses in cooperatives that did not have a place to meet: Aguas Agrias (Miguel Castro Siles), Charco Muerto, and La Granadilla.
These houses have turned into multipurpose places, and are used by the cooperatives for meetings as well as for studying and sewing, lodging tourists, celebrating assemblies, and for meetings and trainings in collaboration with other cooperatives in the UCA.
